Multiple OS in VPS Servers
If you pick one of our VPS server plans, you'll have three different Operating Systems to choose from - CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu. They're all Linux releases and we offer them instead of offering just one OS, as the applications that you might choose to run on the server may have specific requirements regarding the software environment. Each one of the three has some advantages with regard to the available packages that you can later install, but what's common between them is that they are very secure and dependable and have vast communities that support them. The hosting Control Panel options for the VPS accounts depend on your OS choice, in order to provide you with more flexibility. If you order the virtual server with one OS and you need a different one later, our technical support team can easily reinstall the VPS with the new one in just a few minutes. We also offer you the option to maintain the Operating System on your server up-to-date on a weekly basis.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
The dedicated server plans that we offer come with three different Operating Systems to choose from. They are all Linux release - Ubuntu, CentOS and Debian, and not only do they have no license taxes, but they’re also considered to be among the most dependable and secure OSs. We offer three different ones since each of them is supported by a separate community. The packages that you can add on your web server are different and this may matter in case you need to install some piece of software with specific requirements about the hosting environment. In this light, the web hosting Control Panel that you can select for the dedicated server is also determined by the Operating System that you will choose. You can choose any of the three Operating Systems throughout the order procedure, however if needed, we can always install the server once again with another one upon your request. As an additional service that you may add to the package at any moment, we can update the OS regularly in order to keep it as secure as possible.
